The border agreement of 1949 between Norway and Russia have formed the basis for the cross-border cooperation between the two countries in nearly 70 years. This seminar will focus on the Norwegian-Russian cooperation at the border and events related to the border agreement from the Cold War, and until the recent challenges with the asylum stream. The Grenseseminaret is arranged by the Barents Institute.
